Privacy policy

What we collect

When you use Firstpass, we may collect:

• Property addresses you search — used to generate your report
• Email address — if you provide one at checkout, to deliver your report
• Payment information — processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers
• Basic usage data — pages visited, browser type (via standard web analytics, when enabled)

How we use it

Address data is used solely to generate your hazard report. We do not sell your data or use addresses for marketing. Email addresses are used to deliver reports and, with your consent, occasional product updates.

Payment data

Card payments will be processed by Stripe when connected. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. See Stripe's privacy policy. Stripe is not connected in this build.

Data retention

Report data is retained for 12 months to allow you to re-access your purchase. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Third parties

We use third-party services for payment processing (Stripe), hosting, and analytics. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand), you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.
